Enterprise Extensions as the easy to use CRM solution.

All products have different features and functionality, but each organization
must evaluate what is important and necessary to them. As an implementation
specialist for a dozen different Windows and Notes based CRM products,
I have found that requests from clients center around certain themes: They
are: ease of use, minimum implementation time and minimum training/acclimation
time. How long it takes to get used to the program is as important as anything
else; if users are not using the program, it doesn't matter how advanced
or feature-packed it may be.

(EE) is a product that truly has strengths that coincide with today's common
issues surrounding the implementation of a CRM solution.
1. Cost.
2. Installation time.
3. Training and acclimation time for staff and support professionals.
4. Functionality.
EE has a lower cost (investment), can be installed quickly, leverages end-users
experience/knowledge of the default Lotus mail and address tools and provides
most of the features/functionality of its higher priced competitors.
Let's examine each one of these four items a little more closely:
1. Cost. Please be aware that some programs have an additional cost
for a (per) server license. This cost can add thousands of dollars to a
program's per-seat cost.
2. Installation time. How long will it take for Administrators or power
end-users to get the product installed, configured and into the production
environment? EE streamlines this process by providing easy to follow installation
Wizards. It is also the easiest product to use to create custom fields--of
different field types no less!
3. Training and acclimation time for staff and support professionals ("Ramp
up time"). This item cannot be taken lightly. The amount of time
it takes for staff to feel comfortable with the product is imperative to
the success of the project. With EE, this time is greatly minimized by
presenting information in a manner that individuals are used to seeing
during their daily use of Lotus Notes--everything from the intuitive address
book listing of clients to the 4-paned presentation of contact information.
This 4-paned (Contacts, Activities for Contact, Opportunities for Company
and All Activities for Company) view is one of the most succinctly presented
of any Contact Manager on the market. Simply put, EE mimics the Lotus Notes
R5 interface better than any other Notes-based CRM package!
4. Functionality. Feature for feature, EE has the best price/performance
ratio of all of the Notes based CRM packages. Arguably, other packages
may have an extra bell or whistle but there is a cost to have that additional
functionality. How often will that additional tool be used, and is there
another way to complete the task? These are the real questions that need
to be answered.

fields are created.
· Primary contacts View.
· Ease of creation of user-defined fields.
